2018 is almost upon us!! That means you still have a few days to do some things to help you on your 2017 tax return. Of course every situation is different – and I am certainly NOT a tax professional! In fact, I always recommend you have a professional do your taxes.
For us, an easy way to create deductions is to donate goods to charity. That’s what I did last week. It all started with buying some very cool velvety new hangers that are designed to save space and keep items from slipping off the hanger. Of course that meant I had to go through my hanging clothes. Before you know it, I had two bags full of items that I no longer plan to wear.
The other thing that did was jump-start my 2018 resolution to declutter my life! That is a topic for a different day but be warned: more info to come in the upcoming year!
